For the germ conscious, I heard that many airlines will reuse the blankets - they wash them and repackage them. Even more reason to bring your own if you can.

I can't imagine taking that blanket/pillow thingy on a flight and having it count as a personal item bc its so big. I always wear a hoodie for this exact reason and I also bring a thin pashima shawl that doubles as a blanket.....it actually keeps me warm and soooo much easier to pack.

I've no idea why everyone is obsessed with eyemasks. I hate having anything on my face when sleeping. Closing my eyes also blocks out the light :P and they dim the cabin lights anyways.

Okay, my usual ritual is an a glass of white wine, an ambien, a sleep mask, and letting it all kick in to a comfort movie 😂 I’m not a mom yet though. These all sound like great and healthier options!

I will never fly international in economy again if I can help it. Generally cant afford business class but at least have to do Premium Economy. I cant believe my parents and I used to cram ourself into coach as a kid when we traveled. Once you experience the better classes its so hard to go back. Even shorter flights in coach now are so hard on the body.

Speaking of perfectionism! I used to have a SERIOUS problem with perfectionism. I made scripted UA-cam videos (most are not visible on my channel right now-- because I found out after making them that after all of my hard work, the format was done incorrectly), where one script in particular had "ums" written into it in order to make it sound more natural. It was completely rigged and during the editing process, I cut out the most minute details, filming multiple times, with different sections and putting them together in a manner that was "perfect." Perfectionism is TORMENT. And this mindset is brutal because I did not have a concept of time because in order to do something perfectly all your mind is focused on that thing. But even then, its never perfect. This may sound bizarre, but I'm a believer in Christ and ever since I received Him into my life (confessed with my mouth and believed in my heart that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior) He has done ABSOLUTE MIRACLES in my life. One of them He's been delivering me from is extreme perfectionism. He's healed my brain almost completely (literally) of extremely severe paranoia, extremely severe social phobia, extreme depression, extremely severe anxiety, extremely severe traumas, CPTSD, learning disabilities, insomnia, night terrors, night sweats, what I would consider undiagnosed ADD and some form of bipolar disorder and the list goes on. Jesus Christ is still healing me of things. I've been to doctors, been on medications, had expensive neurofeedback treatments... But they did not heal me to the point where now I'm off the meds, don't need treatments, and actually experience mental and emotional peace which I've never had before. Ever since Jesus has been in my life, the amount of appointments I've had has cut down, I haven't gone to the chiropractor or to appointments for severe sinusitis (that is gone). I don't know if you've heard the Gospel before but please read this and truly consider. John 3:16-17 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him." Everyone of us is guilty of sin. We've all broken the Ten Commandments.. "You shall not steal" "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain" "You shall not covet" to include a few of them. The commandments are God's holy perfect law. And because of breaking them, after we die we will face judgement for breaking the commandments and be separate from God in Hell. But God does not want us to go to Hell for an eternity, He sent Jesus Christ to Earth, who willingly gave Himself up as a sacrifice for our sins so we can be forgiven and by believing in Him and what He has done for us on the cross, we can have eternal life and go to Heaven forever after we die. That is how much God loves us. Romans 10:9 "If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." If you do this, you will receive salvation! And then His Holy Spirit will dwell in you and begin His good work on you and in your life IF you seek Him diligently! And as I've testified here of just SOME of the miracles Jesus Christ has had in my life in under 3 years, He will do the same for you and anyone who will receive Him, repent of our sins and follow Him. He will heal you of your ADHD, perfectionism and any hurts, pains, traumas, ANYTHING if you want to be healed of it. Please consider this! Receiving Christ into my life was the answer to my seemingly endless list of problems that go far beyond the list I wrote here. He is the answer to everything we need.
